30% off Hilton resorts in Europe and Asia – with only 30% deposit needed

Hilton is currently running two resort promotions which are worth a look. One covers Europe / Middle East / Africa and the other South East Asia.

What is interesting about these deals is that Hilton is taking a travel agent approach to pricing. Instead of asking for full advance payment, you can secure your room with a 30% deposit.

The Europe / Middle East / Africa offers can be found here. There are 74 resorts in total. Egypt, not surprisingly, is exceptionally good value.

You must book by April 10th for stays at any point in 2014 as long as you book 30 days in advance. The 30% discount is based off the standard Bed & Breakfast rate.

This isn’t too confusing, hopefully. You get a 30% discount, which you can secure with a 30% deposit, as long as you book 30 days in advance.

Did you know that the Virgin Atlantic credit cards are a great way of earning Hilton Honors points? Two Virgin Points can be converted into three Hilton Honors points. The Virgin Atlantic cards are the only Visa or Mastercard products in the UK which can indirectly earn Hilton Honors points. You can apply here.

You can also earn Hilton Honors points indirectly with American Express Gold (20,000 bonus points), the American Express Rewards Credit Card (5,000 bonus points) and – for small business owners – American Express Business Gold (20,000 bonus points) and Business Platinum (40,000 bonus points).

Great offer as it includes the new Waldorf Astoria on the Palm in Dubai. I have also just checked and as raffles mentioned – standard reward rooms have now become available instead of premium!

Anyone know what the Waldorf Astoria, on the palm, is like.
Have been to Atlantis the last 3 years, which is fairly expensive at October half term, and some where different would be good,although the waterpark is fantastic next to Atlantis!!!!

  It only opened in December. Kids club and spa are still not open. Construction is ongoing and not all rooms are finished. It will be fully open by April.
  
  I am thinking about it for October half term as well as my kids get 2 weeks. Flights already booked. Currently booked in the new Doubletree Jumeirah which opens in August and is laughably cheap for the size of rooms and the fact it has a private beach.
  
  We have a suite at Dar Al Masyaf at Madinat for Easter, luckily booked on Sirius points as the rates are equally bonkers.
  
  Emirates Towers, as per my old posts, is still the best value. £400 for a monster suite and unlimited access to the beach and kids club at Madinat and Jumeirah Beach Hotel.

I was going to ask this anyway but it ties in nicely with this article…when booking a BA flight, is there any way to secure with a deposit/paying in installments? It would be a low price economy flight so I guess there would be no loss on TP/Avios if booked through a travel agent/website? If any one could recommend a good one I would appreciate it!

  Unfortunately i may have been a bit naive 🙁 My planned trip is in 7 weeks. BA requires full payment 10 weeks before departure. Great tip for future use though!

If I book into a hotel, on thursday and check out friday then book the same hotel that night, would it count as a seperate stay or the same stay?
