200 bonus Clubcard points (480 Avios) with Now 87 and 50 points on Finest wine

It isn’t a life changing deal by any means, but if you need a gift for a teenager then it might work for you.

Tesco is offering 200 bonus Clubcard points when you pre-order Now That’s What I Call Music 87.

The CD is £13 so it isn’t worth buying purely for the points, unless you are a super-keen eBay seller.  The album isn’t out until 7th April, so bear that in mind if you are buying it as a gift.

Tesco has pulled back from cashback sites in recent months and now offers nothing or next to nothing on most purchases.  However, you will still find it in the various airline estores, include BA’s Gate 365.

The offer runs until April 6th.

Separately, I saw a couple of mentions yesterday about 50 bonus points when you buy a bottle of Finest wine. I have not been able to verify this – it is not on supermarketspecialoffers and it is not showing for online grocery deliveries. Perhaps it is not nationwide? You may want to have a look if in Tesco today.

What teenager owns a CD player?

    • Worzel says:

This teenager owns one. I do regret though, spending so much money on cassette tapes in the late 70’s/early 80’s -big gap in my music library as they all inevitably ended up in the bin!

    • Rob says:

No idea, I don’t know any!

  • Oliver says:

Spotify is only 9.99 per month and this one CD is £13 ? get with it oldies

    • Olivula says:

I thought Spotify was a carpet cleaner……my HMV dog is old and incontinent

  • James67 says:

Sorry, I know this has been answered before but I’m having difficulty finding it. So, could somebody please remind me how long it takes for clubcard points to transfer into BA avios? Thanks.

    • Idrive says:

For points you need to wait till the end of the shopping period, which i presume will be early May. Points will be converted into vouchers. Vouchers can be converted straight away. I reckon you won’t be able to use before 31/03

      • Rob says:

If you already have the vouchers, it should be 2-3 days and often overnight

        • James67 says:

Thanks Raffles. I gave up on sitting around waiting for transfer bonus. I decided might as well have them available for the right redemptions at the right time rather than risk a tesco or BA devaluation in the long term.

  • ts77 says:

Rob – I tried the 50 extra points deal in tesco for the Finest Wine in Surrey – no joy for me either, although there was a stack of 3v……….what they give with one hand….

    • Rob says:

Seems to be restricted to specific bottles, and may also only show in certain parts of the UK. Will take a look in Central London tomorrow.

  • David says:

Can’t find the wine offer in east anglian tesco visited this week.
Has anyone had any luck on 50 points per bottle – and how?
