BA has launched its latest business class sale covering a wide range of destinations in Club Europe, First and Club World.
What is impressive is the booking period, which effectively lets you lock in a sale price for trips over the next 12 months – as well as booking for Easter, you can lock in Summer, October half term and Christmas as well.
You need to book by 11th March. The official booking page for the sale is here.
Here are the travel dates (remember that the last day to book is March 11th):
Europe – 15 March to 4 January 2015 (30 November 2014 for London City departures)
Caribbean, Las Vegas, Orlando, Tampa, Mauritius – to 15 February 2015
Everywhere else – 4 April to 4 January 2015
You must stay a Saturday night, except for European departures from Gatwick.
The deals are not as good those on offer last year, although that is hardly a surprise given the improving economic climate. Last year BA had Dubai at a crazy £1,199 – so cheap that I cancelled my redemption flights for Easter and bought cash tickets instead.
Here are a few long-haul Club World prices I found:
Tampa £1,494
Delhi £1,169 (July / August)
Dubai £1,646
Abu Dhabi £1,450 (available in Nov / Dec which is a decent deal)
New York £1,925 (not great, frankly)
Bangkok £1,796
Las Vegas £1,990
European deals include:
Barcelona £229
Nice £293
Jersey £261
Berlin £269
Larnaca £422 (October)
Rome £318
Bordeaux £244
Istanbul £345
More examples are on the promotional website. If you live outside London, it is worth pricing up departures from Dublin, Amsterdam etc – whilst ex-EU starting points are not officially in the sale, prices tend to move in tandem.
Note that the fares above are NOT available all the time, often they are only for specific months. There are some good deals to be had, though.
