Starwood Preferred Guest is running an attractive promotion in Asia to promote the addition of Virgin Australia as an airline partner. You don’t have to have anything to do with Virgin Australia to take advantage, though.
The promotion is straightforward. You will receive 2,000 bonus SPG points (which I would value at £20-£30) for a 2-night stay at selected Asian hotels before 17th May.
You must, however, book your stays before 31st March.
You must register at this website in order to receive the bonus points, which will post 4-6 weeks after your stay.
The list of participating hotels is here. The St Regis Bangkok, pictured above, is included.
You can earn the bonus a maximum of three times during the promotional period, for a total of 6000 points, and you can only receive one bonus per stay.
