This is my review of the new British Airways Galleries lounge at Edinburgh airport.

This is part of our series of reviews of airport lounges across the UK.  You see all of the reviews here.

The new British Airways ‘Galleries’ lounge opened at Edinburgh last week.  This was built on the site of the old BMI lounge.

A friend of mine was passing through and took these photographs.  As you can see, you can be confident that you will be comfy, fed, full of coffee, with fully charged appliances and have access to a smart bathroom!

  • Shaun says:

Yup, nice & shiny with plenty of space/facilities as used it on Monday.
Always thought the BMI lounge was much better than the old BA lounge, plus the old lounge was pretty much full to burst at the peak times. The new coffee machines are certainly better.

  • Susan says:

Passed this on way to crummy servisair offering on Sunday and had a touch of the green eyed monster. May need to factor it when deciding between KLM and BA in future.

  • Steve says:

I snapped a load of pics this morning including a few panoramic, I estimate it is twice the size of the old lounge with lovely new seating. It reminds me of the business class lounge in T3

  • Colin MacKinnon says:

Anyone going to be there on Boxing Day morning, and would like to guest someone in?

Three of us are off on the EDI-LCY-MAD flight and we have only one Cathay Gold card!

  • Alan says:

I’ve been following building progress with interest so great to see the final photos – it’s looking really nice and they’ve made good usage of the old bmi lounge (which was always nice and spacious). Look forward to using it in the New Year.

  • MJSP says:

Lots in common there visually with the slightly less new BA lounge at Glasgow. Both are an improvement and in many ways, better than their larger cousins at LHR/LGW.

Any idea why there isn’t a BA lounge at LCY? (Except the transatlantic business lounge).
