Hilton launches its Any Weekend, Anywhere sale – valid every weekend in 2014

Hilton has launched its annual ‘Any Weekend, Anywhere’ sale, valid for bookings from today.

What is interesting about this deal is that it is valid from next weekend until the END of 2014, although you need to book before January 31st 2014. Bookings must be prepaid and cannot be cancelled.

The sale is happening worldwide, although the discounts vary. The home page is here. There is no dedicated page for this sale at the time of writing, but if you do a search then the rates will show up. No promotional codes are required.

The rates are valid for any Friday, Saturday or Sunday night from now until the end of next year. In the Middle East, you need to book for a Thursday, Friday or Saturday.

The standard discount is 33% off the cancellable Best Available Rate. This will be cheaper than the usual Advanced Purchase rate.

As an example … for the middle Saturday of Wimbledon on 28th June, the Hilton Tower Bridge (a modern new-build) is £120. This is a £40 saving on the usual Advanced Purchase rate of £159 and a £60 saving on the cancellable rate of £179.

  No, not 50%. Last December they offered ‘up to 40% off’ in exactly the same promotion – this time it is a flat 33% everywhere.

  There was the Thank You sale that was for around a two week period over Xmas. That was 50%. It might come back!

Any good hints for the cheapest Hilton in UK?
Stayed at Milton Keynes one last year (which was £40 b+b), bit far out from the town but ok.

  Hilton Strathclyde (between Glasgow and Edinburgh) has always been rather cheap, but cheap is not everybody’s cup of tea (Mrs Volker wouldn’t stay there, not for points nor status…). James67, if you read this, have you ever stayed there?

    No, and no plans either although admittedly I believe it could work ok for famillies wantibg to enjoy the park on a spring or summer weekend. Perdonally I have been avoiding Hiltons for a few years now after dreadful stays at London Metropole abd Edinburgh Grosvenor; honestly I have bedded dowb in a better Travelodge than those two. However, following recommendations from Raffles and others I will stay in Hilton Kuala Lumpur next year.

Newport was a good hotel as well as the Birmingham ones for Hilton. I did my Gold stays there and it was about £40 a night.

For Europe I find that the deal they have at the moment for public sector beats this one as it includes breakfast well.

To help me get my Gold status I booked a few of my stays at the Hilton Metropole NEC outside of Birmingham this year. I think I managed a couple for £29. It was a single room however with a single bed but one of the times they gave me a standard double instead. I didn’t stay overnight anyway after checking in.

  You can buy gold status for $50 via milepoints. However free internet has just been pulled. Dont be surprized if breakfast follows suit.
