Another BA code: 15% off flights worldwide in all classes from Leeds Bradford

I ran a post yesterday on a 15% discount code that British Airways is offering to people who book an Economy flight starting in a Eurozone country.
Reader David mentioned in the comments section that a similar deal is available from the UK. The good news is that it is valid on tickets in all classes. The slightly inconvenient news is that you need to start your trip at Leeds Bradford Airport!
Unlike the Eurozone deal, this one is valid for quite a while – you can book for travel up to 30th June.
The rules are simple:
You must book before December 20th on ba.com
Your flight must depart from Leeds Bradford Airport
All travel classes are included
Long-haul flights only
The discount works for up to 9 people per booking
The discount applies to the TOTAL cost of the booking, including taxes
It is valid for departures up to June 30th 2014
The British Airways promotional code you need is LBA1Y.
If you live in London and have no desire to start a long trip with a flight to Leeds and back, remember that you could build in a stopover in London in both directions. (The last leg, to Leeds Bradford, could be thrown away if you build in a stopover, as your bags would be returned in London.)
Here is some sample pricing:
Heathrow to New York in World Traveller Plus (8th-15th January) = £879
Leeds Bradford to New York (same dates, classes) = £908 – 15% = £771
In this case, the saving is probably not worth it if you need to fly up from London. However, for a Club World ticket, that 15% saving would be far larger. And, of course, if you live outside the M25 then it is well worth considering.
This code is also combinable with the 10% discount on BA tickets given to holders of the paid-for BMI MasterCard credit cards. The example above prices out at £862 (only the base fare is reduced) with the 15% discount taking it down to £732.
