Hilton Hotels is giving away 15 x 2-night stay vouchers in their Vacationitis competition.

As Hilton’s PR for the competition says:

A new Hilton Hotels & Resorts study reveals that 4.5 million people are losing more than six days of annual leave each year, due to reasons including being worried about losing their job or looking bad in front of their boss. One in 20 even admitted they take just half of the time off they are entitled to, saying that using every day of their annual leave is frowned upon in their workplace. These results show that Britain’s workforce is suffering from Vacationitis – a condition coined earlier this year by Hilton and affecting those who fail to take enough time off from work. Hilton is encouraging employees to check their annual leave balance during “International Use it or Lose it Week”, November 18 – 22, to combat this global epidemic.

To help you use up your holiday entitlement, you can win one of 15 2-night breaks.  These come in the form of free night vouchers which can be used at ANY Hilton Group property worldwide (I think they require Hilton HHonors award space to be showing, but that is usually not an issue anyway).

Don’t redeem at the Hilton Salalah in Oman (pictured above) though as you can get that for just 5,000 Hilton points per night anyway!

Did you know that the Virgin Atlantic credit cards are a great way of earning Hilton Honors points? Two Virgin Points can be converted into three Hilton Honors points. The Virgin Atlantic cards are the only Visa or Mastercard products in the UK which can indirectly earn Hilton Honors points. You can apply here.

You can also earn Hilton Honors points indirectly with American Express Gold (20,000 bonus points), the American Express Rewards Credit Card (5,000 bonus points) and – for small business owners – American Express Business Gold (20,000 bonus points) and Business Platinum (40,000 bonus points).
