Maximise your Avios, air miles and hotel points

150 Clubcard points (360 Avios) for £15 spend at Tesco Photo

Links on Head for Points may pay us an affiliate commission. A list of partners is here.

If you have never taken advantage of this deal before, Tesco Online Photo Centre is still offering a sign-up deal for new customers.

As per this page new customers who sign up and spend £15 within 14 days of registering will receive 150 bonus Clubcard points (360 Avios or 375 Virgin Flying Club miles). These will be added to your account within six weeks.

You may already use a different online photo store such as Photobox and want to keep all your images in one place. However, remember that you can still upload a batch of photos to Photobox without having to print them. You can then upload the same images to Tesco Photo and – as a one-off – order prints through them.

This is not worth doing simply for the miles, of course, given the minimum spend. However, if you have some pictures to print anyway then it is worth a look.

They do print credits, which offer a significant reduction on the price of individual prints and you can then do small print runs. I may do this, as I have a bunch of family history pics I want to print out to see how they look. I can then do copies for family members. I can keep the rest of the credits for the ongoing project of scanning & reprinting Ma’s old photos.

I stopped using Tesco for photo prints last year. I am a keen scrapbooker and get hundreds of prints done but the last few times Tesco’s prints have been very dark. Even after complaining and having them brightened and reprinted I still wasn’t happy. Now switched to Photobox where the quality of prints are excellent done on premium quality paper. However, I just created a collage poster for my daughter’s 21st birthday so I could get the 150 points! Hope the quality is ok!
