Tesco’s £15 off £100 British Airways discount code extended to 31 August

Back in May, I wrote about Tesco’s new Clubcard Perks. Clubcard Perks is a new Tesco initiative to bring extra benefits to Clubcard holders, however often (or not) they actually shop in Tesco!

British Airways provided one of the six initial offers, with a discount code worth £15 off a EuroTraveller (Economy) European flight of £100 or more. This offer expired on 31st July, but has now been extended to 31st August

The deal is easy to claim. Go to this website (EDIT: link removed as now dead) and order yourself a voucher. A special BA discount code will arrive by email within about 15 minutes.

The updated time frame for redeeming the vouchers is as follows:

Book before 31st August

Travel before 13th December

Discount is worth £15 per person, so you only need one voucher per group of up to 9 people

Note that the promotional code is only valid on British Airways flights departing from the UK. This means that you cannot split a £200 flight into two separate one-way bookings and save £15 on each leg.

You MUST be a Tesco Clubcard member in order to receive a British Airways discount code. However, if you are not a member, you can easily join up for free via this page.

  • onlysuites says:

Could I use this voucher on a £50 one way flight within the UK bringing the price down to £35?

    • Rob says:

Doubt it, but then it costs you nothing to order a voucher code to check

    • Robin says:

T&C says it’s not valid for domestic travel.
The good news is that it’s available on nearly all fare types (fare classes Y,B,H,K,M,L,S,V,N,Q,O)
And you don’t have to be the traveller – so I booked 4 friends to Munich saving them £60 and they’ll reward me with a meal! Thanks for the heads-up Raffles!

      • Alan says:

Hmm – if class V is included then would if work for RFS for GCHs? 😉 (the extra availaiblity often books into that bucket)

        • Sir Stamford says:

          As per the T&C .. Paragraph 10

“The promotion can not be used in conjunction with any other offer, promotion or deal, including but not limited to: (i) redemption bookings; …”

So probably not but worth a try.

          Sir Stamford

          • Alan says:

Yes, I spotted that too but wondered if for once their poor website coding worked to our advantage! The £100 minimum spend may be more difficult though.

          • Alan says:

OK had a look but when going through the booking process for a reward flight there’s no option to say you have a promo code – looks like they’ve coded this one correctly!

    • JAY20 says:

NO! £100 Min spend per person – top of the T&Cs

  • Frank says:

i believe the min. spend is £100 saw that somewhere on the website. (yep, can be found in the T&C: Discount: £15 per person with a £100 min spend)

does that mean fare £100 – £15 = £75 as a valid trip? has anyone tried it on a fare below £100 ? that would be fantastic.

  • squillion says:

    Check the maths 😉

  • Frank says:

    hehe. yeah. saturday morning 😉

still, are final fares below £100 possible?

    • Richie says:

Yes I used these codes many many times , I booked gat alicante, and lhr-Brussels both for sub £100 after the deal

  • R. Saunders says:

It brought a fare of £110 (LGW-AMS) return to £95.00

~ Just be aware that if you need to canx. the flight, ~ B.A. will remove the £15.00 from the taxes and charges so you won’t get much back at all.

  • Colin A-B says:

Damn! Just booked 2 x TFS flights plus a hire car for a week and forgot all about the blimmin code.

  • Sideysid says:

Also worth noting that it takes the full £15 off infant fares too, so I have used it a number of times, getting flights with bagagge return for less than £100 pp.

  • arron says:

I never got my codes? 🙁 ive ordered this perk 10 times!!
