Maximise your Avios, air miles and hotel points

Win 10,000 Heathrow Rewards points (= 10,000 Avios, Flying Club, Miles & More miles)

Links on Head for Points may pay us an affiliate commission. A list of partners is here.

Over at Business Traveller magazine, they are running a very simple email competition to win 10,000 Heathrow Rewards points.  This is to promote the relaunch of the scheme and their current (until 9th September) double points promotion.

10,000 Heathrow Rewards points is a pretty good deal.  That will get you 10,000 Avios points, 10,000 Virgin Flying Club miles or 10,000 Miles & More miles.  You could also get £100 of Heathrow shopping vouchers.

There are also 5 runners-up prizes of 2,000 Heathrow Rewards points.

There have also been fairly regular ‘100% transfer bonuses’ to Avios from Heathrow Rewards over the last couple of years, so your prize could be worth as much as 20,000 Avios!

Heathrow Rewards

There are two ways of entering:

If you are not already a Heathrow Rewards member, you can join via this Business Traveller link (deleted as now dead) and be entered automatically.  However, that would be a bit silly given that you can join via the link in this post and earn 1,000 bonus points (= 1,000 Avios etc) when you spend £25 at Heathrow.

If you ARE already a Heathrow Rewards member – which most of you will be – you can enter by emailing baa_feedback@heathrow.com with the subject line “Business Traveller competition”.  You need to include your Heathrow Rewards card number in the body of the email, no other information is needed.

Full details can be found at Business Traveller.  I strongly recommend entering, because I do not expect there to be a huge number of entries.  The closing date is August 31st.

When registering for a Heathrow Rewards account, I was very impressed by the array of alternative titles in the drop-down box. Was very tempted to register as “President” or “Sheikh”, but caution got the better of me and I stuck to “Mr”.

Don’t bother folks, I’m gonna win.

Mmm did anybody else got this. I signed up with HR via the BA website and got with the invitation letter a £5 voucher to spend. I thought I would get 500 points bonus for spending £30. Probably I have to buy a bottle of whiskey of at least £35 now.
