New Priority Club promotion for June/July launched

Priority Club, the Holiday Inn / Crowne Plaza / InterContinental etc loyalty scheme, has launched its new promotion for June and July.

It is nothing if not simple.

Go to this web page and register.

You will then earn double base points or double airline miles on every stay, starting with your second stay.  If your first stay is at a Candlewood Suites or Staybridge Suites, you double up from the first stay.

The bonus will apply to stays between 1st June and 31st July.

Under the new rules that came in this year, the bonus points are unlikely to count towards earning or retaining status.  Frustratingly, I have a very expensive InterContinental stay at the end of July, but under their archaic earnings system, InterContinental hotels in Europe only earn a flat 2,000 points per stay.
