Registration now open for Starwood’s ‘Double Take’ hotel promotion

Registration is now open for Starwood‘s ‘Double Take’ promotion.  This is good for stays at Sheraton, Westin, W, aloft etc hotels.

I orginally wrote about the promotion here.  You get double points for every stay between May 1st and July 31st, with an extra 500 points if you book your stay via the Starwood mobile app.

Note that whilst the promotion runs until the end of July, you can only register up to the end of June.  If you have a Starwood account, you might as well register now, just in case an unplanned stay comes along later.

How to earn Marriott Bonvoy points and status from UK credit cards (December 2021)

There are various ways of earning Marriott Bonvoy points from UK credit cards.  Many cards also have generous sign-up bonuses.

The official Marriott Bonvoy American Express card usually comes with 20,000 points for signing up, 2 points for every £1 you spend and 15 elite night credits per year.
