Maximise your Avios, air miles and hotel points

180 easy Avios (75 Clubcard points) for completing a quick Tesco form

Links on Head for Points may pay us an affiliate commission. A list of partners is here.

A couple of months ago, Tesco ran a promotion offering 100 Tesco Clubcard points if you filled in a very short form telling them when your various insurance products were up for renewal.

The promo is now back, albeit offering a reduced 75 Clubcard points (180 Avios, 190 Virgin Flying Club miles).

Here is the form you need to complete.

You are asked for your car, home and pet insurance renewal months.  You only need to add in one date to get your 75 points, so I recommend just doing that.  It will reduce the level of spam email Tesco sends you later on!

The deadline is 21st May.

Oddly, there seems to be no restriction on people who got the 100 points last time getting another 75 points now, so everyone should jump in.

I never actually received the 100 points from the last one although if I remember rightly, in the Ts&Cs, it noted that it could take until May(?) before they post!

    • Gill says:

My 100 points arrived last week – 12th April.

      • Mr Bridge says:

        mine arrived last week too.

Can i get this offer as well

        • Rob says:

No idea, but it doesn’t say you can’t. Only 2 minutes work to do the form anyway.

    • xcalx says:

I have not received the 100 points from the last offering. Anyone remember the date points were due to be in accounts. Thanks

  • tom says:

Of topic completely, sorry again. I still can’t figure out how to contact you . Maybe put some direct link somewhere. However, I just got an email from AMEX offering 1000 bonus points for every FX international payment of over £500 . Any idea what that is ? Is it worth ?

    • tom says:

      Thanks !

    • Rob says:

It is Amex foreign currency payments service, for people who send money abroad.

That is a very bad offer. Last year they offered 5,000 points for a £100 transfer … that was nice!

    • Rob says:

Oddly, I get at least one person a week commenting in a post or writing via Flyertalk, Facebook or Twitter because they can’t find an email …..

      • Dan says:

As your email is at the moment set out as raffles [at] headforpoints.co.uk, wonder why not underscored (if that’s the right term) raffles@headforpoints.co.uk so people can see it more clearly and just click on the link? May be the website settings do not allowed this?

        • Alan says:

It’s to reduce spam email – publishing a full email address on the web tends to lead to lots of spam. Doing it in this way hopefully cuts it down (at least historically that’s what it has done, I wouldn’t be surprised if the scraping software spammers use has caught up with this).

        • Rob says:

Spam, is the simple answer. There are thousand of automated software programmes that crawl websites, harvesting email addresses from websites, and then adding them to lists of active email addresses sold to spammers.

It is very slightly inconvenient for you, but saves me a massive amount of time in not cleaning up spam!

  • Gordon says:

If you have multiple tesco club cards will you get credit if you apply under each card? Also if you do one insurance product at a time could you potentially get three credits for car, home and pet ?
