Bonus Clubcard points are back on DVD and Blu-Ray pre-orders

A quick heads up that Tesco Direct has brought back bonus Clubcard points on DVD and Blu-Ray pre-orders.

These deals are certainly getting less generous, but they still offer decent value if you were planning to buy the product anyway.

The cheapest is £7 for Ben & Holly’s Little Kingdom which (take my word for this) would make a decent birthday gift for a 4-5 year old.  You get 100 bonus Clubcard points (240 Avios) per DVD.

The Blu-Ray offers are here, and offer 200 bonus points per disk.  The cheapest is Sense & Sensibility for £10, which isn’t bad given that you’ll get 480 bonus Avios points on top.

No bonuses on books or games, however.

Do the bonus points post separately? I bought the Ben and Holly DVD, but it’s showing as 7 points?

Shame you can’t preorder well into the future when they do these offers, like you can on Amazon.

    • Rob says:

They usually show when you order. Take a screenshot which you can email to Tesco later if they do not post.

  • Adey says:

Appears to be a problem with the Tesco website. The Blu-ray offers do show the additional points in the ‘basket’, the DVD do not.

Just had another look and the cheapest pre order dvd is now the Anchorman/Oldskool set for just £3.
