How to earn double Priority Club points for London stays

This promotion seems to have crept out quietly a couple of weeks ago, but is still running for a while yet.  And it’s not a bad deal if you’ve got a stay planned.

Via this link, Priority Club is offering double points for stays in many of its London hotels.

The two InterContinental hotels and a couple of Indigo’s are excluded, but a lot of Crowne Plaza hotels are there, plus a large choice of Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express properties. 

Some hotels outside London are also included, such as Crowne Plaza Marlow and the Holiday Inn in Slough.  The Holiday Inn hotels at Heathrow are included as well.

Here are the rules:

You must book before April 30th

You must stay before June 30th

You must book using the link on the website above and use the special rate code

The price seems to be the same as Best Flexible Rate.  You will therefore be able to find cheaper rooms by selecting Advance Purchase options, so this promotion is only really one for business travellers or those who need a cancellation option on their booking.

It is not clear if the bonus points count for status or not – I am guessing that they don’t.

The Terms and Conditions refer to ‘1000 bonus points per stay’ but I think this is a bad ‘cut and paste’ job.  The text clearly talks of double points, as does the rate code.
