20% bonus when you buy Miles & More miles

Lufthansa‘s Miles & More programme is currently celebrating its 20th anniversary, with a range of promotions.

One of these is a 20% bonus when you buy Miles & More miles during March.  You can see the full range of prices here.

Now, Lufthansa’s high taxes and charges – especially for European flights – mean that M&M is not the greatest scheme out there.  However, if you already have some miles and want to reach a specific target, then this is a decent deal.

The 20% bonus applies to even the smallest purchase of miles.  BA could learn a lesson from this, since their current ‘buy Avios’ offer offers no bonus at all on purchases of under 4,000 Avios, which simply appears mean.
