500 Clubcard points (1,200 Avios) when you pre-order Bioshock Infinite

Tesco Direct has launched an interesting promotion linked to the upcoming release of video game Bioshock Infinite.

Via this link, you will earn 500 bonus Tesco Clubcard points when you pre-order the game, which is available on PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.

If you collecting Avios, that is 1,200 at the base conversion rate. If you are collecting Virgin Flying Club miles, the bonus is worth 1,250. That is on top of the base points for the purchase.

The PC version is the cheapest at £27.84.

There may be a deal here, depending on the resale value of the game. You could sell your copies on eBay, or directly to CeX. Depending on how much you got, your Avios or Virgin Flying Club miles could turn out to be pretty cheap.

This is especially attractive if you received a ‘£15 off £75’ Tesco Direct coupon, which some people received in the latest mailing.
