Uber promotional code for London now available

Links on Head for Points may pay us an affiliate commission. A list of partners is here.

From April 2018, please use our new Uber sign-up code UBERHEADFORPOINTS via this link, or download the app and add the code via the promo code box on the ‘Payment’ tab.  This gets you £3 off your first ride.

A week ago I ran this article about luxury London taxi group Uber, describing their new flat rate pricing for trips from London to the major London airports.

I said at the time that I would post if their was a new working promotional code.  Reader Mike highlighted that the Uber promo code [deleted as now dead] which ironically I wrote about back in the Summer but assumed was dead, was still working.

If you sign up here and use the HEADFORPOINTS code, you will receive a £15 credit off your first ride.  This can either be used for a free ride or a decent discount.  The code was definitely still working OK yesterday because I tried it on a dummy account.

I have used this code to open two accounts on different cards now, and took a ‘free’ ride in a BMW 7 series with Uber over the weekend. Cracking deal, and based on the service I’ll probably use them for my next dash to the airport from Canary Wharf.

Thanks raffles, just used them for the first time with your code and a ten quid bonus I had for a free cab home from paddington.

They are too expensive from LHR but when combined with the HEX work out quite nicely.

Uber appear to have billed my card £1.00 for this.

    • Raffles says:

Presumably a security check to ensure your card is valid. If it shows as Pending it may drop away and not make it to your main statement.

  • Hingeless says:

Any ideas how many times you could do this with new accounts?
