The British Airways ‘luxury seat sale’ starts today

British Airways is launching its latest ‘luxury seat sale’ today (Thursday 7th) for just five days – although the fares were quietly added to ba.com yesterday afternoon.
It covers First, Club World and Club Europe, and covers the Easter holiday period. Club Europe discounts are available for travel until mid May.
There is no list of sale fares anywhere. However, if you go to the Low Fare Finder on ba.com it will show you the lowest fare available for each destination, which is in effect the sale fare. The bargains are not the greatest ever seen, although £1,600 to Seoul in Club World is not bad.
The Dubai flights I have on the last of my BMI miles for Easter are showing as £1,200 each in Club World (albeit I would need to fly back overnight which the kids don’t link) – I need to think about whether this is a better deal or not.
Here is the small print:
The Luxury Seat Sale ends midnight 11 February 2013 and includes selected destinations in First, Club World, and Club Europe from London Heathrow, London Gatwick and London City. Limited promotional seats available. Bookings must be made by midnight on 11/02/13. Travel to Europe from London Heathrow and London City is available for selected outbound travel dates between 18 February 2013 and 19 May 2013.
Travel to all other destinations from London Heathrow and London City is available for selected outbound travel dates between 23 March 2013 and 06 April 2013. Travel to all destinations have a maximum stay of 42 days (6 weeks).
All longhaul destinations in Club World and First must be made a minimum of 28 days before the date of outbound departure. Promotional travel is non-refundable and non-transferable. Tickets must be booked, purchased and ticketed, start and finish in the UK.For full terms and conditions visit ba.com/luxury-sale.
