25% off Virgin Atlantic economy redemptions

Virgin Atlantic has launched a Flying Club seat sale, although sadly only for Economy seats.

You need to book between 22nd January and 5th February, across the entire Virgin route network.

Sadly, the steep Virgin taxes and surcharges are not reduced by 25%.  Even with the discount, you will probably find that using miles remains poor value for money (on a pence per mile basis) once you factor in the taxes.

Previous promotions (50% off, 2-4-1) were also more generous than this offering, albeit that this one appears to cover the full route network and not just selected cities.

Full details are here.
