UPDATE – DECEMBER 2021:  This article is now out of date, but don’t worry.  We produce a monthly summary of the top hotel bonus point offers – please click HERE or use the ‘Hotel Offers’ menu above.

There has been a sea of Accor articles in the last few days.

We started off with a free match to Platinum status in their Le Club Accorhotels programme.

We then had the launch of the Accor Winter sale, with discounts of up to 50%.

Now, we have this promotion.

Stay 2 nights at any Accor hotel brand (Novotel, Mercure, Sofitel, Pullman, Adagio, M Gallery, Ibis) before the end of January, and you will earn 2,000 bonus Avios for your stay.

You need to book your stay before 31st December and you need to set your Accor account to autoconvert points to British Airways.  See the link above for details of how to do this.

This is not a bad little deal, especially as you also earn the base Avios for your stay as well.  If you can combine it with the sale, even better.

Did I read right that conversion to baec is a minimum of 4000 points?

    • David says:

No. The conversion is normally, for most schemes 2000 point muliples of Accor points requried, however not if you autoconvert.

      • Rda says:

        Thanks for the clear up!

My 500 accor points (so far) from that facebook map competition have not autoconverted to IB after a week, so maybe it doesn’t work for new accounts?

  • Paul says:

May/may not explain the additional 2,000 MR I got for a recent stay at a Sofitel?
