500 Clubcard points (1,200 Avios) with any Tesco Wine order

Tesco is offering 500 bonus Clubcard points to people who are first-time users of Tesco Wine.

You need to use code XXNKKL when ordering, and it is valid until the end of 2012.

The key thing here is that you can use it on anything on the Tesco Wine site (minimum 1 case), so you could if necessary spend £12 on a case of Bucks Fizz.

Delivery is £6 if you spend under £50, however, but you will still end up spending a total of £18 for 6 bottles of drink plus 1,200 Avios.

If the Bucks Fizz is not of interest, some of the ‘sale’ cases of wine may look like a good deal when throwing in the points as well.

Nice one. Was planning on buying someone 6 bottles of wine for Xmas anyway, so this has slotted in perfect.

Instead of paying £6 delivery charge just added 6 bottles of the cheapest plonk, so 12 bottles of wine for just over £50, 550 clubcard points and one christmas present done. Happy days.

On the subject of conversion bonus. Do you have a choice on whether you hold points back or not. ie in Feb if there isn’t one then you automatically have to convert your points?

  Unless you have opted into automatic conversion (which you can control from your online ClubCard account), then the following applies:
  
  The vouchers issued have a two year validity date from when they are issued.
  
  So you have two years to save them up awaiting any bonus etc.
  
  Note: If you redeem them for less than their value, i.e. a £10 voucher on a £2.50 conversion, then the ‘change’ is credited back onto your clubcard account, and will be issued again at the end of the next quarter. Which can be usefull if you get to two years and nothing has appeared.
  
  If you have opted into automatic conversion to Avios.com, or BA Executive Club, or Virgin Atlantic Flying Club, then the conversion is done for you straight away. You loose control over when you convert.

Thanks David.Would i choose the e-voucher option in that case? Not sure on the “Note” though – would they reduce the conversion? Not sure on the circumstances of why this would happen.

  Sorry just read my point above. Instead of automatically converting them – the option would be to receive them on a statement in the form of vouchers? How do i then convert them. i’ve only done the automatic way.

Worth noting that there’s now free delivery on ALL orders until 27 November, so you save £6 if you order a case under £50.

For example Raffles’ cheapo Bucks Fizz option will now only cost you £12, not £18.

    I have had a report that the 500 points code has now stopped working due to ‘being used the maximum number of times’. I also imagine Tesco is facing a Bucks Fizz shortage ….!
