£15 of free Uber taxi credit in London

From April 2018, please use our new Uber sign-up code UBERHEADFORPOINTS via this link, or download the app and add the code via the promo code box on the ‘Payment’ tab.  This gets you £3 off your first ride.

If you haven’t heard of Uber, it is the new ‘luxury taxi’ service available in London, having already been operating in New York, San Francisco, Chicago and Paris, amongst other places, for some time.

The core of the service is the Uber app for your smartphone.  Download it, and at the click of a button you can summon a BMW, Mercedes, Audi or Jaguar to your door.  Cars come complete with heated seating, water and magazines.  No cash is required as all rides are automatically charged to your Uber account.

Uber is currently offering a £15 credit to new customers via HFP.  Download the Uber app, add the promo code HEADFORPOINTS and £15 will be deposited in your account.

Typical fares can be found here – certainly more than a black cab but not hugely more than, say, Addison Lee.  Airport trips come at a fixed price.  And the £15 credit means your first trip will be a good deal anyway.

Just tried this and the promo code was advised as being invalid.
Not sure if it has expired?

I just signed up (using the iOS app) and it took the code just fine, £20 credit is now showing on my account

Should be OK, I was only sent this yesterday directly from Urban Junkies. And see above …

      Also invalid for me (Android)

      • Raffles says:

I just created a new account 2 minutes ago, using the iOS app, and it works fine. £20 credit in account. Code must be entered exactly as I wrote it, with no space between the words, ie UrbanJunkies

  • Mario says:

I have an Android. It worked just fine for me.
