Just a quick reminder that Tesco’s promotion to earn 150 Tesco Clubcard points for buying £50 of non-Tesco gift cards in-store is still running.
That is worth 360 Avios airmiles or 375 Virgin Flying Club miles.
Here is my last article on this deal. As we are in the last few points-earning weeks of this quarter, you may want to jump in. Gift cards do make great Christmas gifts, after all!
They have finally got around to advertising this in my local Tesco Metro, but no expiry date is given. The leaflets also state that points will be added to your next statement, which is wrong – they go on your receipt immediately.
Two quick hints:
You can mix and match to get to the £50, as long as you don’t buy Tesco’s own or the Visa-branded cards
Neither B&Q nor Cineworld take Amex instore (Cineworld now does online) so buying those gift cards with an Amex is a way of pushing up Amex spend if you are working towards a BA 2-4-1 voucher
