MilesQuest has details of how to get 500 free Hilton HHonors points very quickly by linking to their Facebook page.

This worked fine for my wife’s account but not for mine.  This means, I think, that if you took part in a similar Facebook promotion that Hilton ran for Hampton Inn earlier in the year, then you are not eligible.

This is what you need to do:

Step 1. Go to https://doubletree.topguest.com

Step 2. Enter in your HHonors account and click the Facebook link.

You will receive your HHonors points in 6-8 weeks.

Meanwhile, Loyalty Traveler has news of a new Hampton Inn promotion which also offers 500 Hilton points, again via Facebook.  This is a bit more fiddly than the DoubleTree one but still seems to work OK.  It says US residents only, but then so did their last promo and I still got the 500 points!  Note that you can ‘untick’ the ‘Share’ button if you don’t want all your friends to see what you have done.

The Virgin Atlantic cards are the only Visa or Mastercard products in the UK which can indirectly earn Hilton Honors points. You can apply here.

You can also earn Hilton Honors points indirectly with American Express Gold (20,000 bonus points), the American Express Rewards Credit Card (5,000 bonus points) and – for small business owners – American Express Business Gold (20,000 bonus points) and Business Platinum (40,000 bonus points).

The Loyalty Traveller link above, which was broken, is now working

  • Lady London says:

I got a “your membership number is ineligible for this promotion”.

Luckily I don’t find Hhonors a competitive program anyway…. otherwise I’d be really peeved

    • David says:

I reiceved the same. Have you already linked your TopGuest account to Hilton?

      • Raffles says:

I certainly haven’t linked my TopGuest account, as I don’t have one! I thought I was blocked because I did the last Hilton / Facebook 500 point’er? Who knows?! My wife’s account worked anyway!

  • Andrew says:

    Worked for me. Thanks

  • Freebs says:

Worked for me too – thanks! 🙂
