Up to 3,000 Miles & More miles for Avis rentals

Miles & More has launched an Autumn promotion with Avis which could be very lucrative if you are in the habit of renting a car on a regular basis.

Until 31st December, the miles earned in Miles & More from Avis rentals will grow as follows:

• 1st rental: 1,000 miles
• 2nd rental: 1,500 miles
• 3rd rental: 2,000 miles
• 4th rental: 2,500 miles
• 5th and all subsequent rentals: 3,000 miles

There is a sneaky sting in the tail for non-Germans.  Whilst this promo is valid for 1-day rentals in Germany, you need to rent for 2+ days elsewhere.  This reduces its value a bit for UK residents.

What is not clear is whether you must use a Lufthansa discount code – I don’t think you do, which would allow to switch in any other codes you can access, as long as those rates are miles earning.
