Edit – this deal is already dead! I am now waiting to see what response I get from IHT!
Ok, let’s start with the disclaimer. You do this entirely at your own risk and should not do it unless you are prepared to fight for your prize!
Take a look here – https://subs.iht.com/LUF12
Usually, the International Herald Tribune offers 15,000 miles in Miles & More for a 6 month subscription, costing £173. The link above offers 150,000. This is worth at least £1,500 in flights, although you need to redeem long haul with M&M because the taxes make short haul redemptions a stupid choice.
The offer is probably a typo. However, it is restricted to just 4 counties, including the UK, whilst the usual 15k offer (which is still available via a different link) is available to more. And the 15k offer asks for your Miles and More number – this link does not. However, the order confirmation does say ‘Special Miles & More offer’ on it!
The link above does NOT require you to pay now. You are billed later. So, technically, you could easily refuse to pay if they refuse to honour the miles. Do a print out of the offer screen (on a PC, press CTRL and PrScrn then open MS Word, right click, Paste and your screenshot will be pasted into a document you can then save.)
The chance of this being honoured is slim, but then the upside is fantastic if they do. I make no recommendations either way!
The link will almost certainly be pulled in a few hours, assuming it is an error (which it must be, because if it isn’t they will be selling about 500,000 subscriptions in the next few weeks!) so you need to act quickly.
