15% off ex-UK Finnair business class flights to Asia and India

Links on Head for Points may pay us an affiliate commission. A list of partners is here.

This offer may be of interest to anyone heading down to Asia or India in the near future.

Finnair is offering a further 15% discount on its already very competitive business class fares from London or Manchester (with a plane change in Helsinki) to:

Finnair A350 flying

  • Bangkok
  • Beijing
  • Chongqing
  • Delhi
  • Nagoya
  • Osaka
  • Seoul
  • Singapore
  • Tokyo

You can book until 31st December 2012, and travel does not have to be completed until 31st December 2013.  Payment must be made with an American Express card.

Finnair is also offering an immediate upgrade to Finnair Plus Silver to anyone taking up this offer.  Finnair Plus Silver, however, is NOT equivalent to BA Silver when flying BA.  It is classed as ‘OneWorld Ruby’ and therefore only offers the same benefits as BA Bronze.  This is not, therefore, an easy way of getting yourself a BA Silver-equivalent card.

Finnair’s seats may not be the greatest (see below) but if you can get a price in the c £1,750 range – available on some but not all of the routes above – then you might be happy.  Tickets are semi-flexible, as you can change the date for €150 and cancel for a full refund for a charge of €400.  This is more flexibility than you get with BA’s cheapest business class tickets

This is the improved flat bed seat being rolled out on the new A330 planes:

Importantly, as Finnair is a oneworld member, you will earn Avios and British Airways Executive Club tier points for your trip.

Hey Raffles, small correction to the post. If the complimentary Finnair cars is similar to BA Bronze shouldn’t it be a One world Ruby and not Emerald as in the post above?
