Glitches with BMI to British Airways status matches

My wife’s BA status match from her Silver BMI Diamond Club card came through a couple of days ago.
And, like quite a few other people, BA had messed it up. This is what is stated will happen on the BA / BMI integration website:
When I tier match at the Executive Club, how long will I be given my new tier for?
When you request a tier match at the Executive Club your new tier will be valid for the remainder of your existing Executive Club membership year, and for your next full membership year.
And this is what actually appeared:
Silver Membership number: XXXXXXXX
Membership year ends: 08 Jun 2013
Card expiry date: 31 Jul 2013
Now, according to the BA guidelines, the last line should have read:
Card expiry date: 31 Jul 2014
And ba.com should not be showing, which it is:
To retain Silver membership you need an additional 570 Tier Points
I picked this up with the BA Executive Club representative on Flyertalk, and it was confirmed to me that she will be renewed next July, however many tier points she earns. As it happens, I think she will make 600 through work travel so it is unlikely to be an issue, but I’m glad I got it in writing. If your year was not reset correctly, keep a close eye on your renewal next year.
